At Home+, we endeavour to offer the best tradespeople within reach of our clients.

We take the hassle out of double-checking the service provider and do this for you. This ensures security and safety of our Home+ clients, anywhere, all the time.

How do you choose Heroes?

Home+ Heroes are not chosen. They approach HOME+, download the app and supply us with required detail being:

• Proof of certification
• Bank confirmation letter
• A clear profile photo
• A copy of a valid work permit,
• A criminal background check

What is vetting?

Once the Home+ Hero has provided the correct documentation and uploaded this into the app, we at Home+ cross check the required certification for each trade. The last requirement of this process is to provide a Criminal check report.

Our preferred service provider for Criminal background checks is HURU.

Does every Home+ Hero get verified and vetted?

Yes. Each Home+ Hero must be verified and vetted before they can start accepting jobs under their profiles. This is irrespective of whether they are operating independently or under a company as the above.

How certain are you that the Hero is who they say they are

We are 100% certain. As part of the vetting process, a picture is taken of the Hero. The Heroes fingerprints, picture and identification details are run through the SAPS database as well as Home Affairs. The details are required to match up exactly for a positive verification. This is what Huru does.

Huru – what is HURU?

Huru provides an identity verification platform designed to pick up on criminal records in order to safeguard homes and businesses within the South African community. All of our Home+ Heroes have been vetted against the Huru platform, their identity verified and criminal background double-checked.
