How do I purchase prepaid electricity using the Home+ App?

In your Home+ App:

  • Go to “Home”
  • Tap “Buy Prepaid”
  • Choose “Prepaid Electricity”
  • Select an existing meter or add a new electricity meter number
  • Enter the amount of money in Rands. Note, the minimum is R50. Tap “Next”
  • Select or add your payment method and tap “Next”
  • Review your purchase i.e. confirm meter number and amount
  • Tap “Pay now”. A “payment successful” pop up will appear
  • The next screen will display your electricity token
  • Punch the 20-digit token number into your electricity meter.
